Article 1 — Purpose

This Authorization permits CCG to conduct compliance reviews, due diligence investigations, and ongoing monitoring reasonably necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, underwriting standards, investor requirements, banking requirements, and internal compliance procedures.

Article 3 — Beneficial Ownership Verification
Applicant authorizes CCG to verify:
- Individuals owning twenty-five percent (25%) or more of the business;
- Individuals exercising substantial control over the business;
- Authorized representatives;
- Guarantors.
Applicant agrees to provide any information reasonably requested to identify beneficial owners.
Article 4 — OFAC and Sanctions Screening
Applicant authorizes CCG to perform screening against:
OFAC Lists
- Specially Designated Nationals (SDN)
- Blocked Persons Lists
- Other OFAC databases
Government Sanctions Lists
- U.S. Government sanctions lists
- International sanctions lists
- Watch lists maintained by governmental authorities
Applicant understands that financing may be denied if compliance concerns are identified.
Article 5 — Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
Applicant authorizes CCG to conduct reviews reasonably necessary to comply with anti-money laundering policies, including:
- Source of funds reviews
- Transaction analysis
- Ownership verification
- Business activity reviews
- Financial information reviews
Applicant agrees to provide supporting documentation upon request.
Article 6 — Fraud Prevention Reviews
Applicant authorizes CCG to conduct:
- Identity verification
- Document authentication
- Business legitimacy reviews
- Bank account verification
- Revenue verification
- Receivable verification
- Public record searches
- Anti-fraud investigations
Article 7 — Information Sources
Applicant authorizes CCG to obtain information from:
- Government agencies
- Public records
- Commercial databases
- Compliance vendors
- Credit bureaus
- Financial institutions
- Professional service providers
- Third-party verification providers
Article 8 — Ongoing Monitoring
Applicant acknowledges that CCG may conduct ongoing compliance monitoring during:
- Underwriting
- Funding
- Renewal reviews
- Servicing
- Collection activities
- Enforcement of Loan Documents
while any Obligations remain outstanding.
Article 9 — Certification
Applicant certifies that:
- Information provided to CCG is true and complete.
- Applicant is not knowingly engaged in unlawful activities.
- Applicant will promptly notify CCG of any material compliance-related changes.
- Applicant understands that inaccurate information may result in denial, suspension, termination, or acceleration of financing.
Article 10 — No Obligation to Extend Credit
Completion of compliance reviews does not obligate CCG to approve, fund, renew, or continue any financing relationship.
All financing remains subject to underwriting and approval.
Article 11 — Confidentiality
Information obtained by CCG shall be maintained in accordance with applicable law, privacy policies, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
Article 12 — Electronic Signatures
Electronic signatures and electronic records shall be deemed originals and fully enforceable.
Article 13 — Governing Law
This Authorization shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.
